Accommodations

Any qualified student with a medically verified disability is entitled by law to reasonable accommodations according to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Reasonable accommodations should be requested on a voluntary, self-identifying basis. Services are available after a student has presented certified, current documentation of the disability from an appropriate medical or educational specialist, and this documentation has been reviewed and accepted as complete. Any student requesting accommodations for any reason should direct their request to the Disability Services Office (dso@calarts.edu), at least one month prior to the start of the program in which they are enrolled to allow necessary time to review requests and to implement accommodations. Please visit the CalArts Disability Services webpage at https://calarts.edu/disability-services for more information.
